In Loving Memory of Anna Marie Beery
With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Anna Marie Beery on September 26, 2025.
Anna was born on June 5, 1940, in San Acacio, Colorado, to Margarito and Eulalia Velasquez. She met the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Beery, on a blind date, and five months later they were married on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1961. Together, they built their home and family in Albuquerque, NM, where they settled two years later.
A graduate of Centennial High School in San Luis, CO, Anna worked at Spartan Electronics before retiring from Philips Semiconductors in 1996. She treasured the friendships she formed throughout her career.
Anna lived a life devoted to her family, faith, and friends. Her faith was a steady source of strength, shaping the way she loved others and the kindness she extended to all. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and sense of humor that brought joy to every gathering. She also loved gardening and flowers, cooking, decorating her home, and making jewelry. A loyal Denver Broncos fan, she cheered faithfully for her team through every season. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comfort of good meals shared.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck; her son Joe and daughter-in-law Retta; her daughter Julie and son-in-law Richard; her siblings Veronica and Bobby; and her grandchildren Zach and Alexis.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held on October 3 at 10:00 a.m. at French's Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in her honor.
