Angeline Michelle Lucero, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on September 1st, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on February 1st, 1980, to her parents Richard and Marnita Jane Lucero in Albuquerque NM.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marnita Jane Lucero, grandmother Anna Mae Lucero, grandfather Joe Marquez, great-grandmother Jennie Lord, and her uncle Willie Romero II.
She is survived by her father Richard Lucero Jr, wife Luz Lucero, and her siblings Ricky Lucero, Valarie Tafoya and husband Loren Tafoya, Jose Lucero and wife Lesllie Lucero. Her nieces Lilianna, Giovanna, and Aubrianna Tafoya, as well as Jasmine, Marissa, and nephew Steven Lucero. Her grandmother Frances Marquez, grandfather Richard Lucero Sr. and wife Edna Lucero. She also had close extended family members, cousin Willie Romero III and wife Kenia Romero, as well as cousin Raquel Verhoff.
Angeline was known for her huge heart and kindness to everyone. During her leisure time, she cherished moments spent with her dog, Noodles, and had a passion for cooking. Her ability to bring laughter to those around her, often unintentionally, will be fondly remembered. She will be deeply missed by many, and she is now reunited with her mother in heaven.
Services will be held on September 27, 2024, at 10 am at His Place Ministries located at 5505 Central Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102 followed by a reception at His Place Ministries.
