Angelina Sanchez

March 10, 1995 — May 14, 2025

Angelina Sanchez, lovingly known as "Angel," passed away far too soon on May 14, 2025, at just 30 years old. Born on March 10, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Angel spent most of her life between Nevada and New Mexico-always staying true to herself, always in black, and always rockin a beanie, no matter the heat.

Her passing at such a young age is heartbreaking. Her time here was cut short, and it's just not fair. She had so much more love to give, so many more animals to save, games to beat, nights to spend under the moon, and laughs to share with all of us who were lucky enough to know her.

Angel was a daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend-fiercely loyal and unforgettable. She leaves behind her mother Melissa Sanchez; her siblings Dylan and Destiny Sanchez; her grandparents Connie Apodaca and Rudy Lovato; her beloved dog Bosa; and her four treasured cats-Miso, Luna, White Boi, and Suki. She also leaves behind her best friends Apollo, Amber, Cody, Nacho, and Julio, who never left her heart.

Angel was a quiet genius with technology-she made it look effortless, like it spoke her language. She had a soft spot for animals, and they were naturally drawn to her. If she could have saved them all, she would've. That's just who she was-compassionate, protective, and endlessly giving.

Her creativity knew no limits. She spent hours drawing, coloring, reading, or immersed in her favorite video games-Mario, Zelda, Pac-Man, and Crazy Taxi were among her favorites. She was also a total pro on a skateboard-graceful, and bold. She made it look easy, like flying on pavement.

Angel didn't sugarcoat things. If you were acting ridiculous, she'd tell you-blunt, hilarious, and straight-up. But underneath all that sass and honesty was a heart that loved hard. She took care of her family, checked on us when no one else did, and gave everything she had-even if it meant having nothing left for herself. That's just who she was.

Angel had a deep love for the moon. She could stare at it for hours, like it understood her in a way the world sometimes didn't. She loved crystals, too-drawn to their energy, their beauty, and their meaning. The moon and crystals brought her a sense of calm, reflection, and connection. They were her quiet kind of magic.

We miss her so deeply. Every single day. Our hearts ache without her. We just want her to come home. This world feels dimmer without her in it.

But Angel isn't gone. She's in the moonlight. In the shimmer of crystals. In the sound of wheels hitting pavement. In the honesty that makes you laugh even when you don't want to. She's in every animal that needs love, every game controller, every deep, quiet moment where you feel something bigger than yourself.

Her story deserved more time- but her love, her impact, and her spirit will stay with us always.
We will carry her in everything we do, for the rest of our lives. We miss you and we love you Angel.
