Angela Maria Mindheim

Angela Mindheim, 56, beloved wife and mother, succumbed to breast cancer on August 19, 2018, after fighting this disease for 9+ years. She entered this world on October 18, 1961 in Bogota, Colombia, born to Nelson and Nohemy Uribe. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Mindheim; her children, Danielle Mindheim and Thomas Mindheim; her parents, Nelson and Nohemy; her brother, Mario, and his wife Claudia, and their four children Esteban, Valentina, Sara, and Tatianna.

Angela grew up in Medellin, Colombia. She immigrated to the United States for love, where she married Bruce in 1995. They moved to New Mexico in 1996, and together they raised two wonderful children, Danielle and Thomas. Her children were her passion, and she cherished raising them into young adults.

Angela loved working as a nurse, and did so for many years. She was passionate about caring for others and doing the right thing.

Angela bravely fought her disease, and did not let cancer define her life. She lived her life to the fullest, and was able to enjoy many beautiful and full life experiences with family and friends. Her presence and spirit always lifted others, and made any occasion special.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at French – Westside.
