Andrew Leonard Milarch passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2026. Andrew was born July 24, 1979, to Jack and Lois Milarch of Albuquerque, which was where he lived his entire life.

Andrew was affiliated with New Mexico Air National Guard (the Tacos) for many years. This included several deployments to Iraq during the Gulf war. The deep friendships Andrew made during that time sustained him for the rest of his life. Another important aspect of Andrew’s life involved his subsequent civilian jobs related to photovoltaic energy generation. This encompassed initial site installations and more recently included maintenance and repair. Analyzing problems and repairing aged and low performing systems gave Andrew special satisfaction and he often proudly told his family and friends how many watts of power he and the crew had restored to being operational.

Andrew was the consummate foodie. Like other things he was interested in, Andrew loved knowing every little detail, and making and cooking food was no exception. He delighted in trying exotic, sometimes very strange and often terribly spicey, dishes from around the planet.

Those who knew Andrew have described him often using the words “Kind” and “Compassionate”. Knowing Andrew was a delightful experience, and he will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 - French Funerals & Cremations Lomas Chapel at 10:00am with a recpetion to follow.
