Andrew Henry Garmise, age 81 of Albuquerque, New Mexico and formerly Hartford, Connecticut died Sunday, February 8, with his life partner Roberta by his side. Andy was born December 15, 1944 in NY, NY, son of Felicia Goldberg Garmise and Morton Garmise and sister of Marge Hoglin. He served in the United States Army and received his college degree in Connecticut. Andy later moved to Miami to become a Trust officer at a bank and later an Accountant and Financial Planner at a private firm. He met Roberta on New Year's Day when he was 29. They both retired to Albuquerque, New Mexico. All who knew Andy considered him as a good friend. He was always polite and thoughtful of other and loved dogs. Roberta always called him the Dad to miniature and standard poodles that loved to be around him.
