Ana Luz Rizzieri

Ana Luz Rizzieri, age 97, born in Taos, NM, on June 4, 1928, passed away on January 20, 2026. She married Patrick Rizzieri of Seneca Falls, NY in December 1950, and is survived by her children: Bruce and wife Sally, Brian, and Barbara Lansdowne and husband, Greg; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ana was a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University. After teaching in Carrizozo, White Rock, and La Luz, she and her family moved to Rochester, NY. She retired from the Rochester School District and eventually moved back to New Mexico, to Albuquerque. She was a member of the St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Parish.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW - Albuquerque. Burial will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on the following day. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
