Amelia Trindal

April 10, 1936 — October 12, 2024

It is with profound sadness that the family of Amelia M. Alferi-Trindal announce her peaceful passing on October 12, 2024 at the age of 88.

Amelia was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. Amelia devoted her life to her family and her faith, finding joy in the love of Jesus and her cherished ones. Amelia enjoyed hosting family get-togethers which allowed her to love on her family with good food and desserts! She passed down a few of those traditions, but none of us have mastered them like her. We will keep trying though, especially trying to make her Christmas cookies! Amelia also spread her love and caring heart to others through the jobs she held outside the home. She also enjoyed working outside in the yard, was an avid walker and enjoyed and loved the dogs in her family.

Throughout her life, Amelia's spirit was a beacon of love and kindness and the memories she leaves behind. Her voice and smile will continue to warm the hearts of those who knew her through stories retold and her love will touch us in spirit each day.

Amelia was beautiful both outside and within; fearfully and wonderfully made. But she always told us to focus our attention on the inside, not the out. She encouraged us by her walk with the Lord to be kinder, loving, more content and to trust in the Lord always. Her beautiful outside was unveiled to allow for her spirit to be set free to glorify God through all eternity! Hallelujah!

Amelia is survived by her 6 children, 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great step-grandchildren, 2 stepsons and their children, and 2 sisters along with many other family members and friends.

Amelia was preceded in death by her husbands, Conrad Alferi and Richard Trindal, her stepsons: Joseph and John Trindal and granddaughter Andrea Ritchie. Several other special extended family members also preceded her in death.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no Memorial service.

French Funerals & Cremations is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Special thanks to Luna Vista Home Health and Hospice especially to her hospice nurse Nancy who showed compassion, devotion and love towards our mother.

1 John 3:23: This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
