In Loving Memory of Amanda Nicole Trujillo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda N. Trujillo, a cherished mother, devoted sister, and beloved daughter & granddaughter, who left us peacefully on June 29, 2025 at the age of 42.

Born on September 20, 1982 in Gallup, NM, Amanda was the eldest child of Roberta Salazar and Thomas Trujillo. From a young age, she exhibited a quiet strength that would define her life. She grew up in Gallup and graduated from High School in 1999 then moved to Albuquerque, NM with her partner Joe Jackson where they started their family.

Amanda Trujillo dedicated her life to her children. As a mother, she was nurturing, supportive, and a constant source of love and guidance. She instilled in her children, Alyssa Jackson, Ayanna Jackson, and Alanni Jackson, she took immense pride in their accomplishments.

To her siblings, Natasha Trujillo, Michelle Salazar, Andrew Salazar, Jacob Trujillo, and Kody Raney, Amanda Trujillo was a steadfast confidante, a playful companion, a pillar of support. Their bond was woven with shared laughter, unspoken understanding, and unwavering loyalty. She was always there to offer an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, and a voice of encouragement.

As a daughter, Amanda Trujillo brought immense joy and comfort to her mom and dad. She honored them by cherishing their love for her.

Amanda Trujillo will be profoundly missed by her children, Alyssa, Ayanna, Alanni; her parent, Roberta Salazar; Her grandparents Maxine Heckart, Mark Heckart, her siblings, Natasha Trujillo, Michelle Salazar, Andrew Salazar, Jacob Trujillo, Kody Raney; and a host of nieces Kourtney and Karissa, cousins,aunts and uncles, dear friends. She is preceded in death by beloved Father Thomas Trujillo, Grandmother Mary Polich, Grandfather Robert Trujillo.

A memorial service to celebrate Amanda's life will be held on July 17, 2025 at 10am at Sagebrush Enchanted Hills, 7555 Enchanted Hills Blvd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144 to be followed by a graveside service at 11:30am at Sunset Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest.
