Amanda Fae Crowther

Born March 6, 1987 in Belen, NM to Curtis Lynn Crowther and Rae Lynn (Hessinger) Crowther. Amanda passed from this life on August 14, 2026 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 39.

Amanda leaves behind her 3 children. Mya Hessinger of Belen, NM, Jadyn Donovan of Las Vegas, NM and Santiago Montoya of Albuquerque, NM as well as one grandchild, Evelyn Rose Abeyta. Amanda is survived by her father Curtis Crowther and wife Sara, Mother Rae Frame, Half-sisters Marilyn Crowther, Shawna Vandevalde-Esqibel and husband Toby, half-brother John McDowell, Stepbrother Francis Pagliuca and stepsister Nicole Pagliuca as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Amanda was preceded in death by her half-brother Jack Crowther, and her maternal grandparents Ray and Betty Hessinger who doted on her as a child. Also, grandparents Donald and Carol Crowther who had both passed before Amanda was born.

Amanda was a bright and bubbly child with an intense personality. She grew up surrounded by her older siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents all of whom she loved spending time with. Those that knew and loved Amanda will remember her fierce loyalty to the family and friends that she allowed into her inner circle. Amanda struggled with substance abuse and as a result she experienced much hardship however that did not define who she was. Amanda desperately wanted to be a good mother to her children, a loving daughter and a loyal friend.

Amanda also had achievements in her life. She received her physical therapy assistant certificate, worked as an assistant loan officer and as a legal assistant in a law office. She strived for excellence in whatever work she did.
