Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Amalia "Molly" Martinez was born on October 13, 1929, in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico and was called home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrosio and Maria Donilia Archuleta, loving husband, Lino Martinez, and her beloved grandson, Jerry "JJ" Trejo.

Molly is survived by her children: Lena Martinez; Leora Perez her husband, Gary; and Michael Martinez and wife, Margie. She was a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to thirteen great-grandchildren.

Molly will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her. Molly was a woman who loved unconditionally. She was always willing to help others, whether family or friends, and her door was always open. She was a loving woman who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit touched many lives, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love that will continue through her family and all who knew her.

Molly will continue to live in our hearts forever.

The family would like to thank Regina Griego, granddaughter, Eric Martinez, grandson, Cruz and Charina Costales grandchildren, and Niki Costales, granddaughter for the great care they provided to their grandmother during the last three years.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 6:00pm at FRENCH-Lomas. A Mass will be held the following morning, at 10:00am, at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Cruz Costales, Niki Costales, Angel Rose, Eric Martinez, Michael Martinez and Genero Trejo.
