Alfonso Maes

Age 71, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ki Sun Maes, his son, Samuel Maes and wife Vu-Quynh-Tram, and many other family and friends. Mr. Maes was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Martina Maes and his brother Bobby. He was a member of the VFW and the DAV and served in the United States Air Force for over 25 years before retiring. He served during the Vietnam War. Alfonso was a member of Catholic Faith and attended services at Kirtland Air Force Base. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 16, 2013, 10:30 am, at Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel, 2050 2nd St SE, Kirtland Air Force Base. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
