Alexander Jordan Smith

Alexander Jordan Smith, born on March 24, 1994, in Albuquerque, NM, passed away on September 12, 2026.

Alex had a heart of gold, always looking for ways to help and support the people around him. He had a special love for animals and always felt for those in need, which led him to work at a dog rescue in Ruidoso, giving his time and heart to animals who needed it most. He also worked at a local casino, where he enjoyed the atmosphere and, fittingly, had a passion for playing poker himself.

Beyond his work, Alex was a passionate sports enthusiast. He was an avid bull rider, enjoyed golf, and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, always cheering for his team with unmatched fervor. He also loved professional wrestling (WWE), enjoying the drama and excitement of every match.

But what truly defined Alex was his heart. He was amazingly kind, always wanting the people around him to be happy. He was quick to forgive - no matter how someone may have wronged him, he never held a grudge, choosing instead to let go and move forward with love. That gentle, forgiving spirit touched everyone who knew him, human and animal alike.

Alex was a husband, son, brother, and stepfather, and he cherished each of those roles deeply. He also had pets of his own that he loved dearly.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Amber Smith; his two step-children, Brooke and Logan; his father, Lee Smith; his step-mother, Barbara Smith; and his two sisters, Genesis and Alicia.

As we remember Alex, we celebrate the laughter, the memories, and the joy he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at French Funerals, Wyoming Chapel, located at 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, at 10:00 am on September 25, 2026, followed by the Rosary at 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am at French Funerals on Wyoming Boulevard and a Graveside Service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Alex will be laid to rest at the cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
