Alan Scott Hutchins

Alan Scott Hutchins, age 55, our beloved brother passed away September 20, 2026. Alan was known for his love of doing bodywork, as well as mechanical work on cars and trucks. He also enjoyed music, fishing, and art. In his early years, he worked as an independent contractor painting the interior and exterior of homes. He was a CDL licensed truck driver and loved taking multiple loads of dairy and other supplies around the country. One of his most frequent routes was to California. He was always quick to lend a hand to his neighbors or friends in need. He would frequently hand a steak over the fence to a neighbor to share what he was grilling. He lived a quiet life with his wonderful friend, Bubba, his German short haired hunting dog. Bubba was by his side even to the end of his life. 

He is survived by his brother, Larry Hutchins and sisters, Amy Bubbico (John), Dorothy Hutchins, Suzy Zelinski, and Carol Ferguson (Darrell). He leaves many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Alan was preceded in death by his parents Walter Hutchins, Delores Clark Hutchins, and his brothers Michael Hutchins and Neil Hutchins.
