Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Adeline Vega (nee Lopez) age 98, a beautiful, devoted and above all, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother was escorted to heaven by Angels of God on Ash Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026.

Our Dear one was known by everyone as sweet, kind and adoring, with a strong belief in God, praying the rosary and finding peace reciting special prayers. In her healthier years, she enjoyed playing the piano, doing crossword puzzles, shopping and reading, but continued singing, listening to her favorite music and sipping an occasional margarita. Above all, she loved spending time with every single member of her family.

We will miss you terribly, but are comforted that you are no longer in pain and finally resting in peace forevermore. Our loved one, Adeline, left behind her two very dedicated daughters, Dorothy Vega-Vargas (husband Joe Vargas) and Toni Vega; three Grandsons, Aric Sandoval, Gabriel Guzman (partner Margaret Espinosa and children) and James Guzman; Great Grandsons Ricardo Guzman and Xavier Sandoval; Great Granddaughters, Cierra Sandoval and Sofia Sandoval, and many special nieces and nephews. Along with family, there are many other friends including Sally Rael and Jesus Cordova, who are deeply mourning her loss. Adeline was pre-deceased by her dear husband Anthony (Tony) Vega; her parents Felipe and Veronica Lopez; Sister Eufemia (Lillie) Andrade; and Brother Albert Lopez. Also touching her life were many special relatives and friends who pre-deceased her.

Pallbearers are Aric Sandoval, Gabriel Guzman, James Guzman, Ricardo Guzman, George Andrade, Phil Estrada, Steve Montaño, and Gavino Lopez.

Honorary pallbearers are Joe Vargas, Jesus Cordova, Dave Andrade, Joseph Abeyta, Marty Lopez.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dementia Society of America or an organization special to you.
