Adam Wilkirson passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2026. He was born on July 25, 1961, in Albuquerque, NM to William and Martell Wilkirson. He grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Highland High School in 1979. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1979 - 1982. After a long career as a locksmith with APS and CNM, he retired in February of 2025.

Adam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martell Wilkirson, and his brother, Pete Wilkirson. He is survived by his wife, Tina; sons, Casey Guilfoyle (Mary), Jacob Wilkirson, and Ryan Wilkirson (Stacey Winter); grandchildren, Melissa Guilfoyle and Samsone Wilkirson; sister, Karen Wilkirson (Cathy Sierra); niece, Amelia Browne (Connor); and many other family members and friends.

It can truly be said that Adam never met a stranger and that when anyone needed him, he always showed up. He was funny, kind, generous, and smart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on April 13, 2026, 9:30 a.m., at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 601 Montano Rd. NW. Adam will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
