TO HARRIETT'S FAMILY, I AM A RESIDENT OF WOODMARK ASSISTED LIVING WHERE I MET HARRIETT EARLIER THIS YEAR. WE SEEMED TO BECOME FAST- FRIENDS THO WE WOULD ONLY GET TO VISIT A FEW MINUTES AT A TIME. I AM VERY SADDENED BY HER PASSING AND SO SORRY I DID NOT GET TO SEE HER ONE MORE TIME. I SENT HER A CARD AFTER SHE HAD TO LEAVE HERE FOR MORE TREATMENTS AND HOPE IT GAVE HER A MOMENT OF ENJOYMENT AS I HOPE SHE RECEIVED IT. NOW I KNOW SHE IS NOT SUFFERING ANYMORE AND PRAY FOR OUR HEAVENLY FATHER'S COMFORT FOR EACH OF YOU IN ALL THE DAYS TO COME.. WITH KINDEST REGARDS, DOROTHY ROGERS

I read this morning with great sadness that you lost your friend, mom, and grandmother. I was a neighbor of Harriett and Red for many years, and I will greatly miss both of them. Harriett was such a joy and full of so much life. I always would brag about her to my friends that she still was bowling and going to the casino even when she was getting frail. Harriett could teach us all about having a full life. Once when my mother was visiting, Harriett took her to the casino, which was quite an adventure for my mother. Harriett was such a sweetheart. Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers and heart during this difficult time. I certainly keep Harriett in my heart forever, and hopefully, I can do "living a full life" justice just as Harriett showed us all. Brenda
