Gordon L. Frank, 62, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, in Andrews, Texas. Gordie was born in Billings, Montana on March 2, 1956, to parents, Clifford Howard Frank (CH) of Laurel, Montana and Beth Leigh (Botsch) Frank of Sheperd, Montana, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Jose Valdez.

Gordie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathy Frank of Boston, Massachusetts; two stepdaughters, Billie Jo Hubbs and Janelle Valdez; seven grandchildren, Courtney and Caitlyn Zang, Jose, Janae, Diego, Santiago Valdez, and Max Kruse; sister, Debbie Bauer, and husband, Keith, Tanya Duke and husband, Chuck; brother, Jim Frank and wife, Julie; nieces and nephews Houston, Kaleigh, Kaci, Tyler, Andrea, Kyle, Conrad, and Candice. He is survived by many other family members and friends.

Gordie grew up in the small town of Laurel, Montana. He started working at his father's grocery store at a very young age. He went on to be a meat butcher. Gordie’s true passion and what he thrived at was being a master electrician. He owned his own company, West Star Electric and ended his career working for Ardent Construction in Texas. Gordie was always willing and eager to help others when in need. He loved rock-n-roll music, golfing, crossword and Sudoku puzzles. He was an expert pool player, playing on many leagues. Gordie’s main love and where he kept his hideaway home was Elephant Butte Lake in Truth or Consequence, NM. He spent many weekends there with Kathy, the kids, the grandkids, and many friends. Gordie loved taking his boat out giving anyone who dared a tube ride. If you wanted to learn how to water ski, he was the one to ask. Gordie was an amazing slalom skier. Even when the sun was out and he was tired, if the grandkids wanted a boat ride, they got it. Gordie was always smiling, looking for fun and enjoyed being around people. He liked to give nicknames to many of his family and friends, for instance, Kathy was his chicken little. The memories could go on and on with Gordie, he will be deeply missed but will live on forever in our hearts.

A Service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at FRENCH – Westside at 11:00 a.m., Reception to follow at Janelle’s house.
