Rudy Montoya

Montoya, Rudy Rudy Montoya, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went peacefully to his Lord surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mela Montoya; children, Ernie J. Montoya, and wife, Espie, and Danny Montoya and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Chelsea Montoya, Mariah Montoya and Evan Montoya; great-grandchildren, Maria Gallegos, Iliana Gallegos and Karolina Gallegos; and brother, Frank Montoya and wife, Perfie. Rudy served honorably in the Navy from 1954 to 1957. He served on the USS New Jersey and USS Lake Champlain. Rudy completed three retirements, first from the City of Albuquerque, Hydro Conduit, and as security with Bueno Foods. In his entire distinguished career, our father never missed a day of work. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW.
