Nadine F. Barba

Nadine F. Barba, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She is survived by her beloved dog, Ladybug; children, Catherine G. Telles and husband, Toby, Charles A. Silva and wife, Wanda, Carolyn M. Gerhardt and husband, Mike, and Rick Morales; grandchildren, Calvin Silva, Arielle Cofer and husband, Jonah, Derrick Silva, Desiree Telles and Thomas Garcia, Holly Telles and Eric Padilla, Pauline Ray and husband, Justin, Michael Gerhardt, and Zachary Morales; five great-grandchildren, Toby, Isaiah, Alyssa, Hailey, and Taylor; special niece, Sharon; brothers, Richard Garcia and Wilfred Garcia; and numerous other relatives and friends. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Barba; her parents Jose and Lucille Garcia. She was born in 1940 in Belen, NM and graduated from Belen High. Nadine was a hard-working mother, who raised four kids. She taught them to have a good work ethic and to accept others for who they were. Nadine was a loving mother, grandmother, nana, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW on Saturday, July 11, 2015, 8:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m.
