Marjorie Covington

Marjorie Covington, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, passed away on August 28, 2015. She was born in Cohasset, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1951. She was a dedicated social worker for many years before her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, J.D. Covington. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Covington, of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, 6104 Taylor Ranch Road NW. Pastor Adam Berndt will officiate. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Marjorie will be buried there, alongside her husband.
