Margarita Elena Garcia

On May 29, 2015, Margarita Elena Garcia went home to be with our Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her husband Marcos, parents Victoria and Dionicio Moya, and daughter Norma Gutierrez. She was a beloved mother of Mary Medina, Anna and Larry Armijo, Marcos Garcia, Carlos and Yoli Garcia and Virginia Lucero. She had many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Esther Henderson and Gloria and Phil Griego. She was a lifetime member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and belonged to many societies. She was always working to raise money for her parish. Her granddaughter Helen Medina was always there doing her hair and whatever else her grandmother needed. Thank you Lord for Helen and thank you to Los Palomas Nursing Home and staff for all they did for her. Their care and attention to her were outstanding. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 306 W High St., Tucumcari. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 also at St. Anne's Church. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park.
