OPPERMAN, FRANCES M Age 85, beloved Mother, passed away on September 19, 2014. She entered this world on July 15, 1929 in Sweetwater, TX, born to Alfred and Lora Newsom. She is survived by children, Dale Opperman, Lora Denise King and husband Paul Arsenault and daughter-in-law Angela Opperman, grandchildren; Susan Opperman, Mark Opperman, and Jesse King of Albuquerque and the surrounding areas, Sister-in-law; Judy Newsom of Farmington, NM and children Dixie Newsom, Bonnie Newsom and Sherrie LaVella, Nieces and Nephews; Gale Opperman, Donna Opperman, Billie June Opperman, Larry Opperman, Paul Opperman, Shirley Judy, Kathy Bison, Debbie Walker, Bob Nowlin , Bruce Nowlin, Jim Moyle and Vanessa Kane. A homemaker and devoted Mother, Frances enjoyed board and card games and camping with friends and family; RV'ing, square dancing and travel with family and husband Ray; and always touching her heart was musica�" which she shared with family and as a long-time member of the Yucca Chapter of Sweet Adelines (now Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus). Suffering from dementia, she lost insight to many things, but never music. Friends may visit FRENCH - University on Monday, September 22, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers; Dale Opperman, Mark Opperman, Jesse King, Jim Moyle, Jerry Newsom and Paul Arensault.
