Ella Louise Albertson

Age 89, died July 18, 2014. She is survived by her children; Cheryl Gushard and husband Ron Hoyt, Jeff Albertson and wife Shawn, and John Albertson and wife Sharon; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Ella was preceded in death by her husband, J W "Dub" Albertson and her parents, George and Ada Foster. Born in Oklahoma, Mrs. Albertson moved to Texas with her family as a child. She met Dub in Sundown, Texas. While waiting on him to return from WW II, US Marine Corp, she worked in a Lockheed Aircraft Plant in California. They moved to Albuquerque in 1950 because of Dub's health, where they raised their family. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed. Her family would like to express a special thanks to the caregivers at St. John Rehabilitation Hospital and Hospice of the Sandias. A Memorial Service will be held on August 22 at 12:45pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery Shelter. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Humane Association ( www.animalhumanenm.org ) or Hospice of the Sandias ( www.hospiceofthesdandias.com ) in lieu of flowers.
