Catherine Irene "Cathy" Cheever-Romero

Age 56, passed away Sunday morning, January 19, 2014 into the presence of our Lord Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her grandson, Joesuph Gallegos; and her parents, Barney and Irene Romero. She is survived by her four children James "Jimmy" Esquibel and wife, Angelina; Jessie Salazar and wife, Erika; Cathy "Nana" Gallegos and husband, Anthony; and Amanda Gomez and hubby Ramon Vargas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Elias, Leilani, Alyssa, Michelle, Joey, Celeste, Carlos, Gabriel, Anthony, Steven, Amanda Marie, Emily, Aniah, Ramon; step-grandchildren Solomon and Roman; four great-grandchildren; and sister Dayna Hughes. She was a very strong and beautiful mother who will be greatly missed! We will meet again! A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
