I am proud to be a native New Mexican. My family has deep roots in the southern part of the state where I was raised. I have spent most of my adult years raising my own children in the greater Albuquerque area. Being able to travel with them, throughout our state has given me a deeper appreciation for New Mexico; its beauty, its people and its culture.

I received my degrees in education, working primarily in early childhood and special education fields. Working with children and their families was an honor and privilege, one that I was unsure could be matched outside the classroom.

As my own children grew, finding their own career paths, I took the opportunity to create change for myself. After over 25 years in education, I knew that a cornerstone to my next career had to have a component in which I could make meaningful connections with others.

When I found myself at FRENCH, listening to the unique ways we can support families as they honor their loved ones, I knew I had found my next calling. Being in a career in which I can be of service to others, not once but twice, is such a blessing.

Knowing that FRENCH has been part of our community for over 100 years, makes that connection even more meaningful.

Getting to meet your loved ones, through your stories, is an honor I do not take lightly. Thank you for putting your trust in us.
